U.S. Strengthens Military Options for China, Reassures Asia Allies

The Wall St. Journal reports that “the U.S. military has prepared options for a muscular response to any future Chinese provocations in the South and East China seas, ranging from displays of B-2 bomber flights near China to aircraft-carrier exercises near its coastal waters, officials said.”

“The menu of options, described by officials briefed on the action plan, reflects concerns that U.S. allies in Asia have questions about the Obama administration’s commitments to its security obligations, particularly after Russia’s seizure of the Crimean peninsula.”

“The security question has closely followed President Barack Obama in recent days during his four-country Asian trip.”

Knowing O’Barmies red lines are no longer red, then anything he says with regard to supporting Asia against the increasingly warmongering Chinese can be had with a ‘pinch of salt~

What Chinese provocations are you talking about? They already occupied reefs and islets and are in the process of reclaiming those reefs and islets in the west Philippine seas. They are planning to put up military installations and airports for their advance weaponry there. Xi Jin Ping already told the Americans that they will not stand down if they are challenged of their historical rights, their 9 dash line, I mean 10 dash line and their manufactured maps which is recently drawn by Communist Party of China. China is really a liar and a bully. Poor Philippines they have a bully and an aggressive neighbor. I could not blame Japan If they will arm themselves because of China’s bullying.

As for recent and unwarranted incursions by China on the Philippine area of sovereignty, it only validates what Dionysius, a great military leader , once said: ” it is a law of nature, which time shall neither annul nor destroy, that those who have greater strength and power shall bear rule over those who have less.”

it is time that the Filipinos armed themselves appropriately…when you say ‘appropriately”, that means the Philippine Armed Forces must acquire needed modern weaponries to respond immediately to the call of arms in defense against an imminent danger to its population and integrity as a nation and as a sovereign state. SUBMARINES MUST BE ACQUIRED IN GREAT NUMBERS AND FIFTH GENERATION FIGHTER AIRCRAFTS, LATEST RADARS AND ANTI-MISSILES/AIRCRAFTS/SHIPS/SUBMARINES MISSILES MUST BE ACQUIRED ASAP

Lakas mang-uto nang US.

The Philippines should build PT boat type vessels for coastal patrol and defence, it could be used also for reconaisance and supply for remote outpost. These boats could be light, and fast, built on plywood or aluminum, the technology is available in the internet, labor are plentiful and he cost is minimal compared to submarines, airplanes and bigger ships, with regards to operation of these PT boats we have plenty of seamen who are experienced in overseas seamen. The Philippine navy should look into this suggestion. In this way the Philippines could not be bullied by China.

The only solution is a sea conflict between China and Philippines so that china can understand the will of the Filipinos over its territories.

Therefore the Filipinos must start producing its arms now.
they can have a production contract with Israel and the US….

In this battle between China and Philippines only nuclear missiles of China can defeat the Philippine nation… And that will warrant the 3rd World War in the pacific.
I am not sure if Communist China is fully interested on that because that will open their political control for oblivion!…
In this battle between China and Philippines only nuclear missiles of China can defeat the Philippine nation… And that will warrant the 3rd World War in the pacific.
I am not sure if Communist China is fully interested on that because that will open their political control for oblivion!…
And if they choose conventional warfare, definitely the West Philippines Sea will be soaked with Chinese blood!…
Look what happened after the Vietnam conflict, they Chinese befriended with them!
To the Chinese, a war is the beginning of respect!
Therefore they must soak these islands with Chinese blood to gain respect (like the Vietnamese) from the Chinese!
So this is the only remaining viable option for the Filipinos to clear their islands from Chinese occupations!…
Better for the Filipinos to start preparing now!…
While the Chinese aircraft carriers are quite sinkable!
Now is their time to put in battle positions the genuine military Generals!
Because battles with the Chinese over these west Philippine Islands like Vietnam is inevitable and imminent!

The greatest advantage of the Filipinos over the Chinese is their short distance from these islands.

The chinese cannot use small fast crafts through these high seas with huge waves.
The Filipinos can use the incoming typhoons as tactical cover and support .
They can reach the islands through fast crafts.
The chinese ships will stand like huge targets swarmed with hundreds of small fast missile and torpedoe boats….
Ths is what I meant of soaking the islands with Chinese blood!

It is my personal opinion that the USA will flex their naval muscles exclusively around the Scarborough Shoals, Philippines, which was the former U.S. Naval test firing range. This fact alone implicates Filipino sovereignty over the shoals. I’m not so sure about the rest of the South China Sea region, but the shoals, are going to be a flash point without a doubt.

I’m a bit apprehensive with US OF A’S actions against China since it already occupied and reclaimed reefs, shoals and islets. China already put military installations airports and harbors for their advanced weaponry. I doubt US OF A SECURITY OBLIGATIONS IN SOUTH AND EAST CHINA SEAS.

In reply to questions, most Chinese spokespersons raise specious reasoning about the Chinese “never attacking any country,” while the facts show otherwise.

They conveniently use the range of some old Chinese emperor’s domain to claim new territories, while claiming to be the bulwark against colonialism and empires of olden days. This logic has been used to annex Tibet and Eastern Turkmenistan. If that logic were applied by the Tibetans, then they should also claim Beijing and sorrounding areas since in the past Tibetan kings had conquered Chinese kingdoms.

The Chinese have shown themselves to be just as greedy as the colonial empires against whom the Chinese Communists speak out.

It is high time this bully is shown its place. For this all Asian nations must be together.
